• Do I have to fully undress?
You do not have to fully undress. I work with a professional drape technique, so you will be under a sheet for the entire session, whether clothed or unclothed. I uncover one area of your body at a time as I work on it. This technique protects your privacy, establishes a physical boundary and keeps you warm during your massage.

  • What if I don’t want some areas massaged?
Each session is tailored to your specific needs and personal boundaries. We will spend a few minutes before we begin to establish your need and expectations for the session.

  • Do you take credit cards?
I accept Visa, Master Card and Discover, cash or check.

  • Do you take insurance?
There are many different types of insurance coverage. I would be happy to help you find out if your policy covers massage. In some cases I can bill directly, others I can give you a statement to submit yourself for re-imbursement. Most flex plans or medical savings accounts will allow massage therapy.

  • Is your office handicap accessible?
My building is accessible. I do have one flight of stairs to my treatment room, but I am happy to make arrangements to use a down stairs room with advance notice.

  • Do you work with children?
I do work with children. I have two children of my own who enjoy massage regularly. I will need parental consent to work on a minor, and may ask you to remain in the room during the session.

  • What is a Doula?
A doula is a woman who is knowledgeable in pregnancy, birth and post partum care. She offers emotional, physical and informational support to the birthing family before, during and after the birth of a baby. I am pleased to offer in home post partum care for families with new babies. I have a genuine love of all things baby and great knowledge if infant care, breastfeeding, nutrition and massage. I help families with newborns in any way they need; meal prep, lactation support, light house keeping, emotional support, baby wearing etc… My fee is $25/hr. Most families have me come for four hours at a time. That is usually just enough time to wash, dry and fold two loads of laundry, make dinner and perhaps allow Mom a much needed nap.
